I am the Head of Business Engagement (Advanced Manufacturing) in the Faculty of Science & Engineering.
I was awarded the 2017 Media Fellowship of the British Science Association. I was placed with BBC North West over the summer of 2017, and report for the BBC from the 2017 British Science Festival. I was selected for the Royal Society Pairing Scheme (2013), to spend a week in Westminster with Lucy Powell, MP for Central Manchester. I was awarded the 2013 Joshua Phillips Award for Innovation in Science Engagement (Josh Award) I am a leader in public engagement at the National Graphene Institute (NGI). I was the Web and Communications Coordinator and member of the outreach team at the Department of Materials. Check out our UoM Materials Blog.
